The U.S. Geological Survey, the Bureau of the Census, and the Board of Geographic Names today announced their joint discovery of a previously unknown state, West Carolina. The state currently has 12 votes in the Electoral College and preliminary polling indicates 95% of its population plan to vote for Donald J. Trump versus just 5% for Sleepy Joe and other candidates. Its location in a remote section of the Appalachian Mountains is believed to be the reason it had not been discovered until now.
The Geological Survey has now launched a search for other possible undiscovered states.
