Betty Crocker to Become Black Trans

General Mills has announced Betty Crocker will come out as Trans. According to the announcement, her backstory will be retconed to establish that she was born a man but transitioned to a woman in 1932 at the age of 19 while attending cooking school in Dubuque, Iowa. In addition, it is being retconned that Betty Crocker is actually Black; the new backstory will establish that she has a skin pigmentation disorder to explain her appearance over the preceding century. In the new version of her early life, she was orphaned at a young age when her parents were killed by police while peacefully protesting against Herbert Hoover.

General Mills has just announced they are retiring the Betty Crocker character for cultural appropriation of Black women. At 1:30 this afternoon, Betty Crocker's backstory was retconned to establish that she is a Black Trans woman. The character was, thereafter, officially retired at 1:37 p.m. According to the newly updated backstory, Betty Crocker was killed while attempting to blow-up the Washington Monument with TNT and baking soda.

This is great news to be welcomed whole-heartedly. For too long corporate America has been silent on the issue of representative corporate avatars, largely due to the constant racial gas lighting of consumers like the ram or jdizzleslice who insist the the mere existence of black or brown people is somehow offensive to them. Congratulations to General Mills for standing up to the tyrants.
