I have never seen one during the day. I saw a pretty good one last month at night though. Lucky me.

---------------Yes,they are pretty Kool... 8-) ...They keep hitting Russia...The Siberia one in June 30th ,1908...must have been spectacular , lucky it hit a mostly out of the way place... Flattening...over 770sq..miles(2,000klm)...The sound of the blast could be herd miles/100s of klms away.... O:) ConfederateSS.out!(The Blue and Silver Rebellion)... O:) ...June 30th is Asteriod Day for Science....I guess because that is the first recorded one...Of great magnitude....Where the ones of Yucatan /Dinosaurs...and the Great Meteor Crater in Arizona...Were to long ago...before records... :D
