Third Time's a Charm - Except for Biden!

Postby saxitoxin on Tue Feb 04, 2020 12:29 am

Results of the Iowa Democratic caucuses tonight have been delayed FOUR HOURS with no end in sight as rumors of "inconsistencies" - or a complete loss of the results due to a computer error - swirl!

No similar situation has ever before occurred in the history of the Republic.

If the Rats can't run a series of town meetings in a rural state, how can they be expected to run the greatest Empire in world history?

The Republicans faced no such problem. President Trump was renominated by the Iowa Republican Party with 97.2% support (which was converted to unanimity by acclamation) giving him 38 of 38 Republican delegates.

So, to be clear, it's only the Rats that are amateurish, bumbling, incompetent and not-ready-to-govern.

At 12:30 a.m. in 2016, 85% of Iowa precincts had reported results.
At 12:30 a.m. in 2020, 0% of Iowa precincts had reported results.

There were also concerns that turnout appeared not to reach the record levels that some had predicted, a worrisome sign for Democrats in a presidential election year.

Meanwhile, Biden is getting ready to sue his own party --- but some people are wondering if "complete incompetence" is actionable in court?

What's the big deal? A new system being tried didn't work. The results will be tabulated the old way, with pen and paper. Hardly seems like a crisis.

Fancy-pants new technologies do tend to have unexpected glitches. That is why people keep paper backups.

As rumors swirl the Iowa debacle - with no results still in - may have been linked to a Clinton attempt to steal the Democratic nomination on the second ballot of the convention by sowing chaos during early nominating contests, an investigation by the Des Moines Register has revealed that the app in question is, indeed, linked to courtiers of the Clintons, the Democrat Party's ruling family.

The smartphone application blamed in part for the ongoing delay in reporting results of the Monday Iowa caucuses is linked with key Iowa and national Democrats associated with Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign.

Security watchdogs had called on Iowa Democrats to be more transparent about the development and testing of the app prior to Monday’s caucuses. But Democrats declined to name the developer or provide testing details, saying top cybersecurity experts advised against releasing too much information because it could result in the vendor being targeted.

Even the treacherous CNN is reporting this as a "debacle" for Democrats, victory for Trump -

Iowa Democratic vote-reporting meltdown hands opening to Trump

The Democratic 2020 mission to oust President Donald Trump could not have got off to a more disastrous and embarrassing start.

The party couldn't even deliver a first-in-the-nation election night winner after a vote-reporting debacle in Iowa — where candidates spent months and millions of dollars vying for a glittering opening prize in their nominating contest.

https://www.cnn.com/2020/02/04/politics ... index.html

This is a Win-Win for Trump ... if Bernie wins it helps propel the Rats' weakest possible candidate to the general election; if Bernie loses we can get Sanders Supporters to bite on a conspiracy theory that the Democrats had rigged the game against them, and inspire them to stay home in the general.

The Rats have turned Iowa into the laughing stock of the world. Iowa voters should remember this in November.

I'm no fan of conspiracy theories but even Dr. Evil would be proud of this one.
Iowa ... too damn white!
Caucuses ... who the hell needs them?

(This was actually sentiment of major party players months before yesterday.)

So what do they do? They give control to some upstart programming company of CLINTON SUPPORTERS (named SHADOW of all things) to run a basically untested system to count the results.
It crashed and burned.
The MSM all proclaimed their hate for Iowa
The MSM all proclaimed their hate for a caucus

In four more years, fly over country will be effectively eliminated from Democratic primary consideration!

Next target ... that overly white New Hampshire ... I wonder how they are going to screw that state over?

P.S. Iowa is TRUMP country; another reason to hate that state from the Democrats point of view.
P.P.S. New Hampshire is next to Vermont; the land where they all feel the Bern.

TRUE, but Obama won it in 2008 and the Rats were hoping for a delayed repeat in 2020. Through their own sheer incompetence, they've nailed that coffin shut!

Joe Biden is now losing his third campaign for President.

He lost in 1988.

He lost in 2008.

He's losing in 2016.

Some people are just natural losers. Others are winners.

Why should we care about caucuses and primaries?

They are not truly a part of our system.

I don’t support either party as neither really works for the people.
The caucuses and primaries are private event whereby private parties determine their nominee.
They are not required by our Constitution and I am offended by the fact that my tax dollars are used to run the Massachusetts Primary in my state.
