- Truckers stop at various locations throughout that flyover country, interfacing with the forgotten blue collar workers
- Truckers driving long distances on straight Interstate highways listen to more things than just country music.

That's the good thing about a constituency-based system of elected representatives. A marginal number of floating voters in a select few swing seats get to decide the future of national policy all by themselves.

Yeah but Churchill also said:
"I do not admit for instance, that a great wrong has been done to the Red Indians of America or the black people of Australia. I do not admit that a wrong has been done to these people by the fact that a stronger race, a higher-grade race, a more worldly wise race to put it that way, has come in and taken their place."
So I think it's safe to say that 'Churchill said it' is not exactly the gold standard of everlasting wisdom.
