What is causing Global Warming? The rise in the level of CO2, currently measured at its highest level since we could accurately and continuously measure that level, at 412 ppm. (Just to be clear, rising levels of carbon dioxide is caused by burning of fossil fuels, such as coal, oil [petroleum and its derivatives, such as gasoline and diesel], and natural gas, mostly methane.)
What is some of the evidence of this phenomenon? The rise in average (and local) temperatures, 1.9 degrees Fahrenheit since 1880. What else? The Arctic ice minimum, down 12.8%. What else? Melting of the ice sheets, down 413 gigatons per year. And lastly, for now, the rise in sea levels, up 3.3 millimeters per year.

Notice:
1) most of this evidence has gone unchallenged, other than some minor and rather meaningless drivel about NASA being “too PC.”
2) Global warming directly causes the rise in sea levels.
What does ALL this suggest? That controlling and reducing man-made Global Warming will cause a major effect and eventual on rising sea levels.
There is the solution and MADp could NOT figure it out, after I gave him several chances, and, sadly, the evidence was HERE ALL along. Sad. Another F for poor ole MADp.
Wait for it.......:
Did I offer a solution? Yes, by merely responding to this thread, I offered a solution. QED
Try again MADp. Troll some more comments with your pedestrian drivel sound and fury, signifying nothing.

2) Environmental impact (will lots of fish or marine life die?). The "left" will fight this idea based on this one aspect.
3) Other ways, including better conservation of water already available, are better.
4) And here is the "kicker" the one I did NOT research: will this idea reverse or even significantly impact rising sea levels? I did not investigate this question and I doubt NP even considered the issue.
