Don't be dumb, RL- some people just want to celebrate the flag and what it represented at the time. Just not the slavery part. It represents American history. not the slavery part. and should be respected as a representation of it, apart from slavery.
When Betsy Ross put that flag together, she was expressing her desire for freedom (well, not for everyone,). I can't think of any reason that an African American would object to the flag of a slave state.
Let's hope they don't have a branch in Germany looking at historical flags.

I'm guessing that you can.'
You're just annoyed about some version of a flag that you think is yours on a shoe.

Didn't he get a couple of million to be their spokesperson? I don't think it is clout. I think if they didn't listen to him it would send the message that they made a mistake hiring him. They made their bed now they have to sleep in it.

Poor Nike, having to listen to a black athlete...
What's your next excuse?

I never said the had to listen to him and it isn't an excuse. A very poor business decision is what I think.

I'm a Westerner and I wear Reebok for jogging (I switched from New Balance after Reebok introduced the Zig), Columbia for hiking, and Dockers for walking (Parkways after Labor Day and Boat Shoes during summer).
For smart dress I wear chukka boots but I'm not sure the brand off the top of my head and for business dress shoes I also don't recall the brand, but they're not $500 bespoke shoes from a thousand year-old Northampton cobbler like fancy mrswdk. With Western Wear I wear Tecova boots but I've had them forever because I only wear Western Wear like maybe once a year if that. I also don't know what brand the shoes I wear with dinner dress are, to tell you the truth, as I only wear them once or twice a year, too.
I don't own sandals because I'm not gross.
