Crop failures on a massive scale, a reduction in the nutritional value even of crops that do thrive, riots, wars, shifting waterways, the disappearance of island nations. Even tectonic events can be caused by global warming -- as glaciers melt, enough weight is lifted off of Greenland and Antarctica to make the continental plates rise.
