The brother of former Clinton campaign chair John Podesta, Tony is now reportedly under scrutiny for possible violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) relating to his group’s business with the Ukranian government. Amid Mueller’s investigation, Podesta announced Monday that he was leaving The Podesta Group, the lobbying firm he co-founded.

Manafort was charged with tax evasion from 2015, before Trump was even the Republican nominee. And Trump fired Manafort more than four months before the election anyway, so there's no connection to the White House.

Hillary kept the Podesta family employed right through her stunning loss. Plus, their violation is of the Foreign Agents Registration Act, not an error in filing tax forms.

Hillary's world is about to explode. Meanwhile, with all credible opposition about to be wiped out, Trump is on the verge of becoming President-for-Life.

No one who has ever been employed by the President of the United States was arrested today.

Today someone who was employed by the president's campaign more than a year ago (and was subsequently fired) was arrested for errors he made on his tax return two years ago. In other news, Clinton mega-donor Harvey Weinstein was expelled from the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences for raping a dozen women around the same time.

never employed by the President; he worked on the president's campaign for less than 90 days more than a year ago

arrested on a misdemeanor charge of making a false statement; will likely get community service and a small fine

Attorney-General Sessions may be preparing to appoint a Special Prosecutor to oversee the arrest, conviction, and jailing of Hillary Clinton -

White House chief of staff John Kelly said on Monday a special counsel should be appointed to investigate Democrats over a uranium deal during the Obama administration and a dossier compiled on Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign.

“I think probably as a layman looking at this kind of thing we need to find someone who is very, very objective who can get to the bottom of these accusations,” Kelly said in an interview on Fox News.

A special counsel would be appointed by the Justice Department.

Republicans in Congress last week launched an investigation into an Obama-era deal in which a Russian company bought a Canadian firm that owned some 20% of US uranium supplies.

Some Republicans have said Hillary Clinton’s State Department approved the deal after her husband’s charitable foundation received a $145 million donation.
