Be nice. Betiko can't help it that he shares many qualities with an angry chimp, and it's unfair to compare the two. Even trump looks marginally better in comparison.

Macron was hailed in Brussels as a victory for the EU Superstate. But what good is a shitty, unpopular president doing Europe? Driving France into the ground presumably serves the EU’s interests in the sense that the weaker all Member States become, the more likely they become to seek refuge in a single, unified European nation state. A weaker France is less likely to want to wean itself off the teat of Brussels, more likely to support deeper integration.

Through its attempts to wreak financial ruin on the UK as punishment for leaving, its use of Macron to wreak ruin on France as punishment for staying, its annihilation of the Greek econony etc., the EU has once again shown why the UK was wise to vote LEAVE. The less one has to do with the EUSSR, the better.

Yes, he received endorsements and has himself expressed intents of further european integration, therefor all is domestic national policies must be of continental proportions. You're right, I understand. Great reasoning
