Speaking for all liberal tree hungers[sic] out there, I'm sorry we made the environment worse.Sorry about saving those owls; I know their incessant screeching distracts you from taking quality pictures of your steam shovel. Sorry about burning down half the state, but you know what Hippocrates says -- go big or go home! Sadly, I seem to have gotten mixed up with a job and won't be able to protest any more.
all environmentalist are all a bunch of nut jobs, all they do is make shit up to get their agenda passed.all over they some animal is on its way out,i call bullshit, how the f*ck do they know, they dont. And for all you lame so called global warming freaks,do you dorks know that all these trees burning up dont help your so called ozone layer.so the point jack asses is with managed logging it adds jobs, and save on the forests fires. But then again you lame snowflakes,if anyone dont go with your agenda then they are wrong and your always right,i call bullshit again
Environmentalists invented managed logging. The logging companies always just wanted to clear-cut and wipe their hands and walk away. It was the environmentalists who pushed for managed logging and replanting and got the companies to change their ways. And yeah, legislation was part of that, but a large part of it was just good salesmanship, getting the companies on board and showing them the way.
The uncontrolled fires are because of global warming, yes. With the ridiculously warm and wet spring, you had a lot more new growth than normal, and when the summer finally came, all that new growth was just like kindling blowing in the wind. Sadly, there's not much that can be done about it now. Even if we started serious action to stop global warming now, it would be 50 years before the warming would stop. Since we're not taking any serious action any time soon, it might never stop. So you'll just have to get used to it, I guess. Years like this year will become more and more common, I'm sorry to tell you. Swearing at the environmentalists isn't going to change that.
