One of those actors who forgot what their job was and started using their profile to whine about politics. Talk about fading away.

I was s-c-a-r-e-d of John Wayne when I was a kid. I remember a movie where somebody betrayed him and he beat the guy to death with his fists. I'd seen movies with people shot, stabbed, hanged, run over by tanks, and all that is normal when you're a boy and you watch lots of war movies and stuff. But the sheer visceral fear that comes from seeing someone beaten to death with fists alone was something completely different and powerful, and it stuck with me for years.

Well, duh! I know movies aren't real, but movies (good ones anyway) can make you feel as if they're real. And the threshold of belief is much lower when you're eight or nine or however old I was.

I prefer False Flakes for breakfast. I don't care for the texture of True Grit.

A bit of a history lesson: this was the last suggestion ever made by MrBenn. He made it June 2011 and it was just implemented now. The context is that Andy Dufresne had suggested a ton of movie names that would work as forum names and then other users followed with some suggestions.

Wasn't John Wayne replaced by Clint Eastwood? Who's going to replace Clint Eastwood?
