The only surprise really is King Lear only being done in Nebraska. It is also done this season in Michigan, Texas, North Carolina, West Virginia and London but none of those theater companies get NEA money (from what I can tell). This got me thinking that you could have a pretty sweet performance of this with Donald Trump as King Lear and Tiffany as Cordelia. Jared would play Regan in drag but wouldn't have any lines. Instead Gilbert Godfrey would read them off-stage.
