Pod Casts

I'm not sure if any of you guys listened to Serial:

https://serialpodcast.org

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serial_(podcast)#Season_1_.282014.29

Season 1 investigated the 1999 murder of Hae Min Lee (Hangul: 이해민), an 18-year-old student at Woodlawn High School in Baltimore, Maryland, U.S. She was last seen at about 3 p.m. on January 13, 1999.[8] Her corpse was discovered on February 9 in Leakin Park and identified two days later. The case was immediately treated as a homicide.[9] Lee's ex-boyfriend, Adnan Masud Syed, was arrested on February 28 at 6 a.m. and charged with first-degree murder, which led to "some closure and some peace" for Lee's family.[10] A memorial service for Lee was held on March 11 at Woodlawn High School.[11] Syed's first trial ended in a mistrial, but after a six-week second trial, Syed was found guilty of Lee's murder on February 25, 2000,[12] and given a life sentence, despite pleading his innocence.[13] Syed did not speak in front of the jury.

But the S-Town Podcast is worth a listen:

The only podcasts I ever committed myself to were James Bonding (now complete until another movie comes out) and OMGWTFBIBLE (simply a magnificent work of art, if you can just past the try-too-hard Jewish pronunciation). Another one I dabble in were various comic book podcasts and that classic video game music one.

It's a bit of a new genre for me. I listened to the old Ricky Gervais podcasts back in the day.

i love the Joe Rogan podcasts... Neil Degrasse Tyson was amazing, as always...

Henry Rollins put life into perspective in a way that made you just want to pick up and go see the world, and Joe was such a perfect interviewer... Any of his regulars crack me the f*ck up, don't get me going on flat earth stuff... Anyway, Serial was great, but there are a ton of amazing podcasts out there... I love true crime podcasts, they are just simply the best. i'm into MY FAVORITE MURDER, at the moment. 2 best friends sit around and discuss true crimes, kind of like how you would do with your best friend after listening to SERIAL. http://www.feralaudio.com/show/my-favorite-murder/

i'll post some others later, have to run off to Sonic for happy hour!!!-Jésus noir

p.s.-and how badly did the media and LAPD bone the dude that created the MISSING RICHARD SIMMONS podcast? i listened to two of them, was enjoying it. Then NBC news and every news outlet went out to find out the answer and the LAPD was contacted by fans of the podcast to find him. soooooo, they went and found him, ruining the podcast before it got juicy!!!!!

p.p.s.-hey, sym, a lot of podcasters record the shows and put them on their own sites or youtube for more revenue!!! Adam Carolla does the same thing.
