Should The Media Cover Cop Cars That Get Shot?

Why do I know the names of the criminals that were neutralized by police last week, but no one is repeating the names of the cop cars that were riddled with bullets in Dallas? These cars show up day in and day out to serve and protect. As well as cop cars in other parts of the country.

What do you guys think?

Yeah, this is what I found disturbing about the movie The Godfather. Such a beautiful '41 Lincoln, all shot to pieces. What a senseless bit of violence!
