Well, I think that when someone is banned it should be announced at the very least, even if it's only as a part of their punishment (public shaming) or to indicate to the rest of us what the latest crime is (do this and you'll end up like DaGip).
So far as I understand it, If nothing appears in the "Cheating and Abuse" forum, the banning proceeds entirely without comment or explanation. That is, either a mod makes a decision off their own back, or someone PMs a mod and doesn't have the cojones to tell the rest of us about it.
And of course if we don't comment on it for a while, that's effin hilarious and we're all total prannies fit for NS to mock.
