Americans have been flooding Canadian border towns in search of affordable medicines. It's not a stretch to think Americans will emigrate to Canada for their Healthcare.

If your father, or grandfather for that matter, dies before his debtor's prison sentence is complete, then the eldest son has to go in his stead until the debt is deemed paid. If no sons, eldest daughter, then nephew, niece, grandson, etc.

And reading the related stories shocked me and brought light to new b.s. going on even here

I kind of wanted to post what I thought was an actual worthy cause. There was a family run Chinese restaurant here that was lovely in almost every way. The men's room was kind of nasty. At any rate they had a fire start in the next door restaurant of the strip mall they were in and it destroyed the place. Appearently their insurance was insufficient to rebuild. Being in Canada I guess it is difficult to sue the other restaurant so now they are trying to raise money. To rebuild. Then the thread became combative for some reason.
