Neil deGrasse Tyson diss track -B.o.B.

Postby Phatscotty on Sat Feb 06, 2016 7:18 pm

LULZ

The rapper B.o.B has stirred up some controversy with tweets declaring that the Earth is flat and that NASA fooled the entire world in 1969 by faking the historic moon landing. It might have gone unnoticed, just another remarkably uniformed tweet among many, but then Neil deGrasse Tyson, the renowned astrophysicist, responded and tried to talk B.o.B down. B.o.B. couldn’t stop himself and carried on, making things worse.

whoa....

Pratchett, with more than 85 million books sold worldwide in 37 languages,[4][5] was the UK's best-selling author of the 1990s.[6][7] He was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 1998 and was knighted for services to literature in the 2009 New Year Honours.[8][9] In 2001 he won the annual Carnegie Medal for The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents, the first Discworld book marketed for children.[10][11] He received the World Fantasy Award for Life Achievement in 2010.

Well Scotty I take it you have never read the Discworld books I did in the eighties when I was in Germany they were actually fascinating books well written and the first one that I read was called the wyrd sisters. so yes I recognize a couple years ago when conquer club got the map of Discworld I knew what it was about I wonder how many others that have actually played that map know where it came , and as for Bob the new poster child of why you should not use illegal drugs because it screws your brain up

Well that's the good even here on conquer club you may be able to learn something that you didn't know before and that frankly some times shocks me, because often time as you get a wisecrack and answers from people that really don't know what to say or wisecrack and pictures the supposed to mean what they think and unfortunately they would rather use a gif and actually take the time to express in words what they want to and it's pretty obvious that the one that use the Gifs are also the ones that are pretty sure they're smarter than everyone else

One day they will learn as I did. The secret is out but only half of us know it. People who are educated, informed, intelligent, witty, knowledgeable, wise don't get reduced into profanity, name calling, non-sequitors, and tomfoolery. People who are reduced to such do so because it's all they know how to do, since if they knew anything else they would not make such a fool out of themselves in public for everyone to see. Sure, they might be funny, and maybe that's all their going for. There are exceptions, like AOG and Saxitoxin and few others, but they are far and few between.

Perfect example.
Tyson's responds to B.o.B. using science and history, his response stays on topic, his response does not turn the topic into a personal issue
B.o.B. responds to Tyson 'I'm over here on this side of town, come on over over over over over here and try to clown'

Also wanted to post the Degrasse diss track to b.o.b.'s diss track

Sounds like a pagan religious point of view, but the books are damn funny are they not
