You may know him as the father of Justin Hammer... Tony Stark's adversary.

You may know him as the grandfather of Armie Hammer... the Lone Ranger.

Some only know his knockoff brand Armand Hammer

I know him as a snivelling commie. I'm glad he's been dead most of my life.

Commie? He's was a rich Capitalist.

Err umm Clayton Moore was the lone ranger as I recall. If your talking about the movie that came out, refused to watch it, on the basis of the native side kicks name translation, no f ing way, I wonder if Johnny deep knows what he was really being called whole movie, I hope Jay silverheels was unaware.

Commie? He's was a rich Capitalist.

Rich capitalist or not, he spent most of his time telling other rich capitalist how wonderful life in Soviet Russia was, and organising American subsidies, both public and private, for the Soviet Union.

First of all, the notion that "Armand owns everything, except the company named after him" was a joke my uncle used to tell him. (And yes he was friends with Armand Hammer.) I don't recall my generally conservative uncle mentioning that he had been a commie. I'll double check when I talk to him again when he has his anniversary celebration.

Gee, has it been 25 years already? Time flies so fast these days.

No. He worked his way up corporate ladders, moving the family to various parts of the US before he became president of a small manufacturing company.

Arm & Hammer has NOTHING to do with the Soviet Union.

Arm & Hammer is a registered trademark of Church & Dwight, an American manufacturer of household products. The logo of this brand is a muscular arm holding a hammer. Originally associated only with baking soda and washing soda, the company began to expand the brand to other products in the 1970s using baking soda as a deodorizing ingredient, including toothpaste, laundry detergent, underarm deodorant, and cat litter. The Arm & Hammer brand is one of the longest-running and most recognized U.S. trademarks.

The Arm & Hammer logo dates back to the 1860s. James A. Church ran a spice business known as Vulcan Spice Mills. According to the company, the Arm and Hammer logo represents Vulcan, the Roman god of fire and metalworking.
