You don't need a satirical programme to tell you that. Although I am offended by the implication that the Scots speak with silly accents. It's the other countries that do.

You lie. You're not sorry at all, are you? Admit it.

I had heard that Celtic and Rangers wanted that to happen but the other clubs did not want to. Let's face it, the Scottish Premier League is boring...always Celtic and Rangers winning the league. So why not create a British league? I would love to see Celtic vs Liverpool or Man. Utd. for example.

If that were to happen in said league I would side with Celtic...my favourite British team! :)

Personally I don't care if Rangers and Celtic f*ck off to the English League, it might be good for the Scottish game. Auld firm fans are just glory hunters mainly - the vast majority never go to games. A couple of seasons mid table and the fair-weather fans will flood back to their local teams. The one thing that would be disastrous if the filth joined the Premiership is that FIFA would probably have grounds to raise the possibility of abolishing the Scottish national team - or at least loosing our league a straight champions league place.
Personally I don't think there is much demand for move anymore - the only people that really want the move is Sky so they can show the auld firm matches. The top 4 or 5 English teams get by fine without the increased revenue and the rest of the premiership teams wouldn't want the extra competition. Rangers and Celtic themselves have got it good in the SPL as they have guaranteed European football every year – something they would lose if they went down south.
There’s probably a bigger move to expand the champions league for a bigger “European league” than there is for this move.
If by some chance they do go I think they should be forced to start at the bottom of the league and work themselves up - it would be unfair to all the other English teams striving for a place in the top division for them to just waltz in.

Think you'd be fairly safe to be honest. The Welsh League still keeps it's Champions League places and national team, but 6 of it's teams play in England (Cardiff City, Swansea City, Wrexham, Newport Country, Merthyr Tydfil & Colwyn Bay). Likewise, an English team used to play in the Welsh Premier League (Oswestry Town) and a Northern Irish team still does play in the Republic's league (Derry City).

Think you're being quite optimistic about the old firm though. The way Rangers have been playing recently I don't think they'd stay up in the Premier League! Smelltic probably would though.
