Quick question about England

So for a paper I'm writing now, was Church still affiliated with the gov't in Victorian England? Need a yes/no answer within the next hour or so.

What do you mean by affiliated? They were still pretty involved, Bishops are automatically given seats in the House of Lords... The Church did have a reasonable influence on the formation of policy (evangelicals campaigning for improved working conditions for women and children etc.)...
