The thing to remember about joining the armed forces is that if you choose the army you're sent out to get shot at by the enemy, while your officers are safe back at HQ gambling with your lives. If you join the navy you're all in the same boat and get targeted as one. If you're in the air force you get to hang around playing with spanners, back in a base in a neighbouring country, while your officers are flying over the war zone and getting shot at.
I know which I'd choose, if I had to choose one.
My question is; do you trust your government enough to entrust them with your life?
