I drove a rusted out '79 Chevette 2dr hatchback for a lot longer than I should have. No traction in the snow, but the most fun you'll ever have driving.
I paid three hundred for it at an auction, and bought it from the original owners children. He had died.....
Anyway the front left shock(dampener?) had been bondoed on to the body.... and busted through right after I bought it. Cheap trick... Then someone at my school took the oil plug out, and the engine seized and blew up. So I had to buy a new motor(it cost me a case of beer, literally). Finally I blew a coil and bought a van. But really, it was the most embarrassing ride I've ever been in, yet still the most fun to drive, EVER.
