Google is your friend. Wiki is an associate, and Google is a good way to get past that wiki doesn't like mispellnigs in its search box. Type "trolling wiki" in google and you should get something.

According to wiki, the term originated in the 1980's in Usenet groups. Now those were fun times. Whole places dedicated to ASCII art, and other stuff. Back then computers used fixed fonts (and we loved them). Life was grand and AL Gore was nowhere to be seen.

trolling

1: Hunting for trolls.

2: Similar to motorboating, but involving slower, less aggresive shaking of one's face between a well-endowed woman's breasts. The resulting sound is more akin to a trolling motor.
