I have a feeling that most mens restrooms and locker rooms are going to be empty while all the womens are packed.

the bill endangers religious freedom by opening the door for the state to punish any person or organization — including small and home-based businesses — that refuses, for religious or other moral reasons, to offer or sell goods or services to homosexuals, bisexuals, 'transgendered' and transsexual individuals.

Yes, the most dangerous part is that businesses can no longer discriminate against their customers. #-o

Uhm, now women are going to start making men wait in long lines to use the men's restroom?

As for the whole transgendered thing; sorry if about 99% of the population of Colorado are NOT transgendered. Can't really be helped.

No the most dangerous part would be a 14 year old girl being sexually abused by a 45 year old man, who now under Colorado law, would have the "right" to use the woman's restroom.

Anyone who would sexualy assault someone is not going to be deterred by unisex bathrooms. It's rather silly to think that there are people who would commit a violent crime but would not do it now because of where they are allowed to go to the bathroom. This bill doesn't present any new danger to anyone as the danger already exists.

It already existed, but now there is a MUCH higher chance of it happening since people really won't be able to question the opposite sex using the other's bathroom.

Are you that ignorant? If someone was to watch a man (sexual predator) go into a woman's restroom they can do something about it. But if the scenario is the same, with a law on the books stating ALL restrooms are unisex, the person who watches the same man go into a female restroom can do nothing about it. This has got to be one of the craziest proposed laws I have ever heard of. The governor had better veto it or my advise to those in Colorado is move out of state or never let you or your family members use public restrooms.

Are you suggesting that sexual predators with " I like people with the same genitalia as me" bias are less dangerous than heterosexual predators?

When I was around 14, I was very cute, to same-sex-lovers, and had a number of close calls in the Gents.

And there is a basic difference between "traps" and urinals. When you're in a toilet with a door (I assume all female facilities have a door, since they assume the "sitter" position for 1's or 2's) you have a lock. Pointer-types who only want a pee will not enter a stall, an thus expose their genitalia to anyone nearby. So predatory sex-pests presumably have more fun in a gents than a ladies.
