As for which is more dangerous to those around the users, I would say alcohol. The main reason is that because marijuana is illegal, people tend to use it in private so as not to get arrested. Thus, they aren't around large groups of people. Alcohol, on the other hand, can legally be consumed, and is also done so in public places, i.e. bars, sporting arenas, etc. This leads to more interaction with other people while under the influence, and we've all seen what happens then. The other thing is that people GO out to bars, which means the must get home some way. Drunk driving is responsible for so many deaths, both drunk and sober people, that alcohol is in my opinion more dangerous.
