What do you guys think?

Cute, though by no means original. You need to study politics a bit more. The REAL truth is that there isn't much difference between the two, except retoric. Many politicians switch back and forth.

This phrase doesn't exactly show signs of emotional/mental development. Tossing out swears like that give you the image of a snub-nosed teen-aged brat. They certainly make it harder for your point to be put across.

Anyways, my nominations:
Democrats -> Moderate Conservatives
Republicans -> Radical Conservatives
Kucinich and Gravel -> Liberals

They're a party in and of themselves. :|

jesus christ. if you're not a member of the school board, you should join.

you'd fit in with all the others...

In our area the School board is far too busy dealing with such important issues as who will coach football next year to worry about such obscure topics as educational content.

Though recently, they have being forced to interrupt this IMPORTANT debate to deal with some crazy individuals who want kids taught science and evolution rather than literal creationism (a topic for other threads, not here).

Right. I'm sensing a sort of deep-seated conflict with your son/daughters' schoolboard. Maybe something you could take up directly with them? :wink:
(I think I fit in with the head-shrinking crowd too...)

no, not all. i just agree with Mark Twain's sentiments about school boards. if you don't know his famous quote, i suggest you look it up.

or else go back to burying your head in the sand and continue using the fallacious argument about profanity discrediting the point. cause, you know, you doing that only reinforces the point i was making... about the whole "they did it first" thing.

but hey, nice try.

That one? And what's this crap about only having three quotes within each other?

Whoa, nice try. Could you clarify for me, the way you said it makes it sound like literal creationism is being currently taught. Did you mean the other way around?

I was being extremely sarcastic. So far, evolution is still being taught here, but the debate is showing up on more and more school boards in my region, and is by no means a settled issue any longer. Sports, though really do seem to be the primary focus, but then, we have a fairly decent school here.

If you want to see my real views on the evolution/creationist matter, or voice your own thoughts, visit the creation thread by Widowmaker.
