Decent idea.

Or, you could just learn the material. :P

I think it would take less effort to learn the material...

I know a couple things that are better but this is a good idea.

Ups... now everyone knows how I got my GPA that high... 8-[

I actually converted around page 198. Unfortunately, I converted to satanism.

I've been both in academia and corporate life:

As a professor, I'd give a 100 to the student who learns the material.

As a hiring manager, I'd hire the one who creates the coke label.

It really depends where you are in life at this point...

Cheating is cheating. If the instructions are that it is a closed book test or exam, then creativity is not an option. I always despise the people who cheat on midterms, thus gaining unfair marks that bring the class average up and bring non-cheating students' marks down when the prof uses a grading curve.

For me I don't particularly care. Call it cheating if you want, but school is nothing more than preparation for the real world, and being able to pass a class, no matter what your methods, is doing what has been asked of you. If they actually cared about you learning the material they'd have a compilation test at the end of high school. Something like an SAT or ACT, but with much more weight (and probably much more difficulty).

So are you saying that teachers in high school don't care about cheating because they don't give an end of high school test? It's more than just learning the material. Learning it helps build study habits. It's not likely that a student will be able to get by through cheating and loafing, then be successful in the working world. School helps get you in the habit of working hard at something.

School helps you learn to work the system. Study skills don't help in the real world, results do, and results don't really pay attention to methods.

Sure but now that it's on youtube everyone will know about it... or atleast too many people to risk trying it without getting caught.

In Australia, we have a high school test. We can leave at the end of 10th grade if we wish, because we get what's called the School Certificate. People do leave and get jobs then, but if you want, you can hang around for another 2 year, complete year 12 and get the HSC (High School Certificate)... Year 11 and 12 is High High school, if that makes sence.. Year 7-10 is Highschool, which is compulsory, year 11 and 12 are not...

Edited: To get the year 10 certificate, we have to do the School Certificate test... Which is reptty goddamn easy...
Untill The End.
