this whole spam issue

Blame Spamalot and their copycatters. believe it or not, IK is not a spam playground. There are people who'd like to carry on normal conversations, debate issues, discuss things, etc... and not have it disrupted by "OMG GFY SPAMMERS RULZ!" or have it derailed so you can talk about my little pony. There are random convo threads already set up, filled with nonsense. Use those, but don't let it overrun the forum, which is what happened before.

Of course it's our fault. Believe it or not we are not children and we can have our conversations and if someone says something we can ignore it and if a topic derails it usually only become more interesting.

Well...unless you have a perfectly good thread about putting your brain inside a robot and all the other people go on about computer games....

Have you ever had a conversation..and you start looking at a link...and then see another one..and see another one...and all of the sudden you are no place close to where you started and have no clue how you got there...but you are having a blast? Oh...okay. I guess it's just me then. Sorry for going off-topic.

It's the same concept as getting lost on Wikipedia, you talk about something, then talk about something mildly related etc etc until you end up talking about 9/11 or Paul Ron or whatever his name is.

Word.

I can see myself and a couple of my friends talking about a 24-hour analog clock. I mean...why not have one? Is there one? Whats a sundial? Oh....shit. I guess I'll go create another topic for this random though. I hope I don't have too many.
