From being homeless and living in very cold environments for a while, I taught myself the art of Tummo (which is focussing your energy into a fireball located at your solar plexus Chakra). I am not a master of it, but I definitely change my body temp by just meditating on it. I credit Tummo for allowing me to survive during some really bad snow storms up on the Mesas of Northern Arizona!
I will go ahead and call bullshit on this one buddy. I know the area pretty damn well, and you are full of shit you fat f*ck.
You don't know the area as good as you think you do. Have you ever spent any time during December up on top of the Mesas of Black Mesa on the Hopi Reservation?
The storms that came through in 2002 were deathly cold. And my first trip up to Hopiland I was trying to walk from Winslow to Hopi and had to find shelter in a small restroom in the Homovoli Ruins just outside of Winslow. I had to light a candle to try to keep warm and I didn't dare go to sleep, as I probably wouldn't wake up.
Now why did I get trapped in a restroom out in the middle of the desert with no tent or jacket (all I had was a damn wool blanket that I cut a hole in to make a Poncho!)?
Well, I spent eleven years in Arizona and all that time was down in the Phoenix area. I had NO IDEA that the weather in Arizona could reach that cold of temp.
When I hit the road I thought it would be warm and tolerable, but I was direly mistaken...if I didn't practice Tummo (and also weighed about 400 pounds) I would have easily frozen to death, no joke.
