I would tend to agree. The difference is that YOU know it is illustration & dramatization...which it is of course. I do not doubt that the general teachings of most religious texts are based in "live a good life, be nice, do unto others, etc". However it is the belief some (not you) have about the fantastic stories actually being real that amazes me.

Exactly the same way everyone else does...without the fairytales part. :lol: I read Christians saying "I try to live my life as a good christian" & Muslims say "I try to live my life as a good muslim". Well, I try to live my life as a good person...that's how. As an adult, I don't need Aesop's fables to "teach me" how to do that.
