I am angry jake that you cannot understand the huge benefits to facebook that I and many other people benefit from. On any internet website you get that pervy shit, its the fucking internet. Its also fucking real life, where u get abductions, paedophilia, necrophilia and all that other disturbing shit. You're gonna get that in any aspect of life, so to attack facebook for this is unjust.
Most of my grievances are more myspace directed - from what i've seen of facebook (my girlfriend has one) it doesn't seem
as bad - but i tend to think of them as the same kind of thing.
My anti-myspace/facebook rants are in no way supposed to be a personal attack on you/people who use them, so I don't know why you should be angry - most of my friends have either facebook or myspace. Like I said, my girlfriend has one, and I can see some of the benefits of it when it's used as a tool of communication - I just don't like it still though.
On a side note, me and my girlfriend used to live in different cities when we started going out for almost a year (8 hour drive - 1.5 plane flight) - so internet/phone was used alot for communicating, I can sympathise with your current situation - but i still found it easy to keep in contact with the people I want to without myspace or facebook - but that's just a personal choice
