16 players only and there will be 7 rounds. Two players will be eliminated every round. For every round you are in a team that wins their game, you will be awarded a point, the points themselves won’t come into play until the final round so you could be eliminated from the tournament ahead of someone with less points than you.
How it works: All games will be played on random map setting, flat, chain, fog, no trench, 20 round limits.
Round 1: 16 players: - You will play a quads game. Every player on the two winning teams will get 1 point and move safely into round 2. The 8 players who lost, will be placed into a 4 player assassin game. Normal assassin rules apply, you need to take out your target, taking out someone else’s target will result on you being the player eliminated. The 2 players who are assassinated are out of the tournament, the other 6 players move into round 2.
Round 2: 14 players: - You will play either a quads or a triples game. Every player on the two winning teams will get 1 point and move safely into round 3. The 7 players who lost, will be placed into a 3 or a 4 player assassin game. Same rules as round 1. The 2 players who are assassinated are out of the tournament, the other 5 players move into round 3.
Round 3: 12 players: - You will play a triples game. Every player on the two winning teams will get 1 point and move safely into round 4. The 6 players who lost, will be placed into a 3 player assassin game. Same rules as round 1. The 2 players who are assassinated are out of the tournament, the other 4 players move into round 4.
Round 4: 10 players: - You will play either a triples or a doubles game. Every player on the two winning teams will get 1 point and move safely into round 5. The 5 players who lost, will be placed into a 1v1 game or a 3 player assassin game. Same rules as round 1 for the assassin game. The player assassinated is out of the tournament as well as the loser of the 1v1 game, the other 3 players move into round 5.
Round 5: 8 players: - You will play a quads game. Every player on the winning team will get 1 point and move safely into round 6. The 4 players who lost, will play a 1v1 game. The losing players are out of the tournament, the other 2 players move into round 6.
Round 6: 6 players: - You will play a triples game. Every player on the winning team will get 1 point. It is at this point where points gained in previous rounds kick in. The two players with the lowest points will be the players eliminated in this round.
Round 7: 4 players: - You will play the other 3 players still active in a 1v1 game with a point given for every win, added to the points already gained in reaching this round. Any tie-breakers will decided on a head to head basis.
All players will only be given two chances to join their games. Fail to join the game invite and you will be removed from the tournament. I am not going to work with any reserves on this so a player eliminated from the previous round with the most points will be re-instated to the tournament to cover for any drop-outs.
