College Football season has begun! That means that the controversial BCS system is just around the corner... =D>

The BCSCC Tournament is open to all premium members. There are (48) participants, each playing a minimum of (12) games. Players are divided into (6) divisions of (8) teams:

FULL Big Ten

(Play on USA Great Lakes)

FULL SEC

(Play on USA Southeast)

FULL Big Twelve

(Play on USA Southwest)

FULL Pac Twelve

(Play on USA West)

FULL Big East

(Play on USA New England)

FULL ACC

(Play on USA Southeast)

ACCRUED TOURNAMENT POINTS

each divisional champion (i.e. player with the best conference record) and the next 4 highest-scoring participants (10 players total) advance

All conference games are played on the conference's 'home' map. All non-conference games are played on map USA.

TOURNAMENT ROUNDS:
Best of 3 (each player's home map and USA)

CHAMPIONSHIP:
Best of 5 (each player's home map x2, and USA)

Can you please elaborate on the point system.
Do we start the season ranked or unranked?
How many points do we get for a win. How many points do we get against a ranked team and so on.

It is hard enough that no one really understand how BCS do their math

But we need to understand the math behind your point system.

It is hard enough that no one really understand how BCS do their math

You gain/lose as many points in the standings as you do with your ranking. I'll look at the last entry of each tournament game log, and add or subtract those points to determine the standings (i.e. after the first game, only 1/2 of the players will have a positive rating). Does that make sense?

There are no preseason rankings.

So in that case. it means that a low CC ranked player that won 8 games in the regular season might end up with more points than a high ranked CC player that won 9 games. If so, I don't think it is fair. Please cancel my registration.

yup. It opens it up for lower-ranked players if they can win their games against better opponents. However, 12 games should even things out, and the best should rise to the top. That's the BCS

Do you expect a low-ranked player to win 2/3 of their games? I don't - if they do, they probably deserve a spot in the top 1/6...
