2007 Australian Open [WINNER: begbie]

I got the inspiration from tennis' 4 grand slams. The Australian Open is the first of 4 tournaments to come.
The tournament will be played in a 64-player bracket format where players will be randomly assigned. All games will be 2 player games; whoever wins advances to the next round.
Each Grand Slam will have a different feel:
Australian Open will be played on the Australia Map, Sequential, No Cards, Adjacent
Roland Garros will be played on the Europe Map, Sequential, ?, ?
Wimbledon on British Isles, Sequential, ?, ?
U.S. Open on the USA Map, Sequential, ?, ?
The winner of this tournament will be automatically given the first seed in the French Open, finalist will be given the second seed, semifinalists the third and fourth seed, and quarterfinalists seed 5-8. Losers in the earlier rounds of this tournament are eligible to play in the French Open tournament, but they will have to sign up on the 2007 French Open
thread. Winners of these tournaments are automatically given a spot in ALL of the other tournaments, therefore some quarterfinalists will not be given a seed in the next tounament.
EX. If Joe wins Australian Open and Bill is a quarterfinalist in the French Open, seeding will be given to Joe at Wimbledon even though the previous rule stated that Bill would have a seed in the next tourney because of his quaterfinalist status. Get it?
In an effort to slow down the tournament, next round games will not be played until the current round is fully completed. (SUBJECT TO CHANGE)
Again, I reserve the write to replace anyone who does not join a game in a timely fashion.
