overall its good, but those circles HAVE to change. they're way to noticeable.

edit: take a look at middle earth circles for an example of what i mean.

LOOKS LIKE ONLY 30% OF ALL REPLIES LIKE THE CHANGES. 70%+ DO NOT. I AGREE, HARDER TO SEE THE ARMY COLORS, ESP. WITH THE WHITE BACKGROUND CIRCLES. YOU COULD MAKE THE ARMY COLORS BRIGHTER MAKING MORE CONTRAST, OR DARKEN THE WHITE TO GRAY. CAN YOU PLEASE REVISE???????????????? please!

The map looks good but the circles on the map are horrible. I, for one, never had a problem seeing what was going on without these stupid things. This should be an optional feature like the color codes or they should be removed.

I guess it's easier for someone who's completely new to Risk, but the army circles are REALLY too bright. I say keep the new names and continent colors, but dim the army circles please.

Okay.. I am really glad i didn't have too many Classic games going, and thank God all but 1 is escalating...

Looks like you finally found a way to convince me to play other maps...
but change it back and I'll happily pay extra..

PS - NEXT time, test the change on some willing subjects 1st

I think the white army circles look really bad. The old circles blended with the map's color sceme, now they stick out like sore thumbs. I'd say lighten it up a bit, I think its much easier reading the armies on them, but still... They just look, weird.

Other people are talking about getting headaches while playing the new classic map, and IT'S TRUE. Play for a few minutes....maybe it's the brightness.....................PLEASE make this map optional!

IMO, the only thing that needs to be changed from the orig classic map, is Europe needs to be a different (lighter) shade of blue... so that when blue is on it, you can see what's going on.

I have 2 things to say.

1.) To everyone who is unhappy and is complaining in a way that makes you sound like a D-Bag, please remember that the work that was put into this was intended to benefit you, so show osme appreciation.

2.) To whoever is in charge, the white circles do seem to do more damage then good, The first time I saw it I thought something was wrong with my monitor. Maybe my eyes are just sensitive because I've been staring at the monitor for too long but they are way too bright. Bright colored text on a bright white background doesn't work for me. I appreciate all efforts and I'm sure you'll find a way to make this better.

Terrible. It hurts my eyes and the "shadows" make it hard to decipher armies' colors. Please make it optional or change it back.

That's just what I was thinking too!

It's 'NEW COKE'.

My vote: Thanks for putting in the effort, I genuinely appreciate the effort... but THE RESULT IS AWFUL!

If anyone wants to compare the 2 "classic" maps, look on the Home page to see the original. I REALLY think the original better, in most respects. Perhaps the revised map can be Re-revised.
