too much pink .... jk

i like the gameplay, huge map, many bonuses. But maybe you can change the graphic to something like a castle? easy to say and hard to do, i know. But if you could manage, it would make the map more interesting imo.

I would like to see the opacity increased on the map itself

A large map, which is a good thing (we always have clamorings for more maps meant for 8p team play). However, it's way too neon for a huge castle in Austria. Agreed with Seulessliathan that there needs to be more castle, less neon. As it is, it's a little hard to understand the map.

Like it - more big maps please. Agree on less neon, more castle - drafts going in the right direction but need more of the same. And routes between territories need to be made clearer - gates are not obvious enough yet. Not clear until you look closely which inside terrs can attack terrs in other bonus areas - bold black lines for internal no-gos? Territories will presumably be named letter digit? Eg CC1, CC2 for Castle Court 1, Castle Court 2. (See Omaha Beach - WW2 D-Day map). The font in legend is atmospheric but is there a more easily readable gothic script?
Thoughts for gameplay:
- too many territories? cutting to 160 would still give 8 players 6 reinforcements to start. And make the map clearer to read. Some of the regions inside the castle look v crowded. But terrs outside the castle are secondary - maybe fewer terrs outside the castle & reduce the size of bonuses there?
- how about combination bonuses - eg hold 3 bonuses in adjacent areas of the castle and you get a fourth bonus (similar to World 2.1
- Mobility: a big map will be better for not having too many cul-de-sacs and long corridors, but lots of ways around. Gates in the walls look about right - unless geographical accuracy allows you to put in 1 more in the SW, & possibly 1 in or near the central passageway (Court Library?). A few more internal doors, eg from Leopold Wing 5 to Castle Court 4, or Palm House 2 to Aug Church 4 would be good.
- Whack a hefty bonus on ?Court Library? which you will pretty much need to hold to win the game.
Your maps seems to combine many of the good features of Siege & World 2.1 - maybe take a careful look at those to see what might work/not work on yours.

okay, I'll try to do most of that, thanks for the tips... my next draft will be somewhat different than the previous ones anyway, Im going to try and replace territory borders by route lines.

It would appear that development of this map has stalled. If the mapmaker wants to continue with the map, then one of the Foundry Moderators will be able to help put the thread back into the Foundry system, after an update has been made. ;-)
