This is the first draft of a "Curitiba Map" I made with my friends.
Curitiba is a city in Brazil, which by the way is where I live.

What do we have to do to officially submit it to CC?

Guys, I can testify there will be lots of Brazilian players eager to play on this map....

Can't wait to put the beta version on the air. How can we test it?

You both appear to be new around here. It's a good start to a map, but it's got a long way to go before it's put up for live play. I'll comment on it later.

Hi alexsandrovp. You've got the beginnings of a decent map, but as TaCktiX said there are a lot of things you'll have to do first to get this map CC-ready.

For starters, you need to read up on the CC map basics; I'd start at the How to Make a Map Handbook. If you are really serious about going through the Foundry process, you can read through the MapMakers Guide.

Please note the image size limits; your maps are too large. The small map is about the right size to be the big map, so you're half-way there as far as map size.

There are some elements of the map that are looking good: your basic elements are there (regions, territories, borders) and they look pretty clean. You've provided a decent mini-map.

Other elements need some work; for instance the text is almost impossible to read on the small map.

You need to turn an eye toward gameplay. There's no rhyme nor reason to the bonuses; why is ciudad industrial a +3, while the much more difficult to hold Bairro Novo is only +2? Are there any impassable borders you can introduce to the map - a river, or a park maybe? Because right now the regions look impossible to hold. With no place to hide or defend yourself, this map will just be a free-for-all, decided by dice.

What I hope is that as you continue you'll begin to add some flavor to the map. Right now if I didn't know better I might think that Curitiba is a country or region, not a city. Give me something that draws me in to the map and puts me in Curitiba - architecture, monuments, people, etc. Have some fun with it, and show us your city.

Having a background would make it a lot better. Try to put it in context to where it is in Brazil, if it is in Brazil, I'm not sure. But jsut white space is not good.

I agree with the white space comment, but also understand that this is in it's early stages.

Maybe using some texture on the territories would give it something more, and the bonus image is almost as big as the main image. -Maybe you could scale it down and pump up the contrast to make it visible without having to be so big?

[Moved]

It would appear that development of this map has stalled. If the mapmaker wants to continue with the map, then one of the Foundry Moderators will be able to help put the thread back into the Foundry system, after an update has been made. ;-)
