Are the bases starting points, if so you need 8. I don't know if when the south pole resets you still get your +15, It might not. Also, if it is 20 nuturals it will take more troops to take than you will recieve for takeing it. What are the whitish resources supposed to represend, just curious. Also, immpasibles and mountains are needed because when I think Antarctica I think mountains of ice, and I think most people do, after penguins.
I like it, though.
(a past attempt, just for insperation.)

Maybe I am wrong, but AoR only has 6 starting points.

You get your 15 then it resets next turn, I think its pretty clear
Uhm. What other map works this way? This isn't clear at all.

The starting points on Feudal, etc. were before there were 8 player games. You need 8 points now.

That is what I thought, but I hope you will be able to redo it with enough for 8 players.

A few comments at first glance, assuming the N# stands for the number of starting neutrals. If all the zones are worth the same amount, you should make them more "even". For example, all adjacent zones, can reach one another with only one centre territory connecting them, except the top and left ones. They can only be connected by using at least 2 centre terits. Also, the top, and right zones can access the south pole with only a single connecting terit (ironically, the same spot for both of them. Dome Fuji), but the bottom and left zones, are both at least 2 away from the Pole. The top and bottom zones' "castles" each border 2 of that zone's terits, while the left and right connect directly with 3 of the zone's terits. Finally (for now), I can quickly see a few territories that seem like there would never be any reason to attack. Peter, Mawson, and Endberby Land.

We have figured out a way to fix all those problems, thanks Timmiz, and the new version is coming soon

I would have liked Antaritcan Claims as continents myself...
I don't like the idea of cooking fish.

Agreed.
I don't see what this has to do with the map?

I really doubt THAT was the statement bryguy was agreeing with.
Regardless, he's saying that he'd prefer a continent map based on the 4 claims on Australia as opposed to one that involves campfires.

I do not know xml very well, whether or not you are able to do this depends on whether the amount of armies you get is given before or after territories reset to neutral.
I think you might play a map with killer neutrals, get your territories to 14 normal + 1 killer neutral... if you get 4, then you won't be able to do it for this map; if you get 5, you will get the bonus for the South Pole

Actually it has, we touched up little things without saying, it wasn't worth a whole new version or even a point

The south pole hasn't changed tough. And I still think it resets before you get your troops, but I'm not sure.

Agree. Exactly what will happen with the current settings.

In all honesty sailor. The idea is pretty rubbish in my opinion. There really isn't much you can do with the atlantic. It is after all a big blanket of ice. All you seem to ahve done is slap on alot of borders and clip art. Gameplay is wide open and far to bonus heavy.
I suggest your efforts are spend on something a little more intresting and doable.
