I might bring this into a draft myself, but if someone else volunteers then I'll let them have a go at it first
Alright, the idea. Like I posted previously in the other thread (CC itself), I think there is an interesting map to be made out of the forum.
Why?For one, people at CC (well most) love it here. And most come here to play games, which take place on maps, right? So why not combine everything into them playing a map on their very own CC?
It would be a CC-patriotic map, but, more importantly, address something that both mods and forum-active players talk about a fair amount — the lack of participation in the forums. Only about 1/4th of members, by my estimate, visit the forums. So, let's increase that number. That's the purpose of the passwords to the BRs, so why not take it even further and make a map out of the forums, which will probably lead more people in here.
So, what do you propose?Alright, so I will try and explain the best I can. I'll try to post a rough rough draft if I can.
Each subforum (i.e. General Discussion, Foundry, etc.), and the subforums in it would be a bonus in itself. Flame Wars, since it has no subforums, would only be a +1 bonus. Holding all the international forums would be its own bonus, but that could not have any other bonus seeing how there are no subforums in any of those.
Mods (listed as their group — like "Cartographers"; global mods would be present everywhere) would be the way to attack out of a forum (like the Foundry or Flame Wars). They could attack any other mod. However, none of this includes lack. He is a turtle placed at the top of everything, able to bombard any mod or subforum (be it a large one or one inside any subforum).
With a horizontal family tree-like layout which places lack all the way to the left (a symbol to indicate where he can bombard — I like a turtle shell

), the forums to the immediate right (and the mod groups under each forum they mod), and the subforums branching out from the larger subforums, and so on and so forth, I think this could be both cool and productive.
