Space Battle

This is drawing off concepts from Star wars battlefront 2 and the previously mentioned naval battle idea.
Basically you have a top-down view of 2 big ships and 2 frigates for each and a bunch of tiny fighters in between being the bottle neck between the two ships.

kinda what i'm goin for.

Aslong as you got nothing of Stars Wars, Star Wars got nothing on you. There's another Space Battle map in this sub-forum, may you too could link up and make a nice map.

well i would need help with the graphics but other then that yeah i'm willing to make it playable.

ok well lets see here:
+1 bonus for haveing 6 of the fighters
frigates(i.e. boxes) can bombard the enemy ship(s)
in fact i could add more ships to make this workable for up to 4 players(more then that would be pushing it since it is a ship per player)

I like it, maybe if you added 8 ships and made it so each person started with a ship, then this could be a very fun conquest map

hmm.. eight ships would be hard and it would increase the terit count a bunch.

Some thoughts would be instead of "big ships" call them cruisers or battleships
For gameplay maybe have frigates able to bombard fighters, fighters able to attack Big ships, and Big ships able to bombard frigates?

obviously there are already some problems with the frigates in the far top and far bottom.
some adjustments:
the center territ has a decay on it of -1 per turn.
the frigates can bombard only enemy generators.
comments?

I actually like it, we need this to inspire someone graphical, also maybe add more feature to the Main Ships, i.e. auto deploys, bonus, bombarding

yeah perhaps the bridge has an increase of +1 or +2
and hangers could bombard the fighter zone.

yeah i was trying to do that sorta i was using the terminology of big ship so that you could tell from my horrible map lol but i think that i will call them carriers since it kinda fits the battle a bit more
also i was thinking of making a bonus of haveing the "northern" ships, "southern" ships, etc.

I'm not liking the shape of the carriers/cruisers/battleships/bigships. Get some non-copyrighted sprites, there everywhere, just remember to give the people who made them credits.

i know i tried googleing some but i don't have the grafics ability to edit them this is just a plan/outline.
