crazy idea, CHEESEBURGER MAP

hey, i was thinking if we had some cartographers crazy enough, we could have a map that would be A hamburger or cheeseburger map. territories would be ingredients, but we might have to do stuff like "left burger side." please say if you think this is a stupid idea, or if you really like it.

the territory groups would probably be

condiments, burger, bacon, buns, lettuce, onions and pickles as one, and cheese.

each would probably earn an extra 1, with burger and buns being 2 since they are going to be hard to capture. you could have cheese melting down the sides and connecting different ingredients. I dont know XD.

thanks for reading! :D

I would not call some one a cartographer until they have completed one map. And anyone who has gone through the headache of pushing map into live play would never try one of these stupid ideas.

welll ssssssoooooorrrrrrryyyyyyyyyy, i was just trying to be creative, i mean, after all, we already have like, 10 europe and france maps, the entire use map collection, about 15 ww2 maps, and random parts of history. I think a little variety would be good hmmm?

Orly? I've had a lot of "stupid ideas" that could have gone into live play if there had been any interest. Where do you draw the line then? :-s

This brings to mind the old arcade game, BurgerTime. It may sound silly, but it's a possible map. It would take some artistic talent to make it happen.

Perhaps not limit it to hamburgers, but make it a Diner Kitchen? The continents are menu items/meals (displayed overhead, like at McDonalds), the territories are the ingredients. Meat in the freezer, vegetables in the fridge, cheese and bread on the counter, canned goods in the cupboard, fries, chicken wings, and onion rings in the deep fat fryer. Bonus for owning the fridge, freezer, etc. as well.

So you would see "Cheeseburger" on the menu and know you have to conquer: Cheddar Cheese, Hamburger Bun, Ground Beef, Lettuce, Tomato, and Pickles for +bonus. Side of Fries and/or Coleslaw = +1 bonus. Maybe separate into Hamburger, Cheeseburger and Deluxe Ham/Cheeseburger depending on the combination.

Other menu items might include:
Cheddar Cheese + Bread (+pickle, tomato?) = Grilled Cheese Sandwich
Lettuce + Tomato + Cucumber + Dressing = House Salad
Tomato + Ground Beef + Beans + Cheddar Cheese = Chili

hmmm.. don't forget the chicken sandwich, fried or grilled, and is there a double dipping on the lettuce and/or buns, or multiple buns? i'm seeing this working..... :D
