Iwa Jima map.

This shape is perfect for a CC map. To say nothing of the fact that this is Iwa Jima. The pivotal battle of WWII. We have the battle of Omaha Beach, We should have the battle of Iwa Jima.
I want to do the artwork for this map. I would be willing to turn over the reins to one of you accomplished CC mapmakers, to do what you do best.
Maybe together we can succeed, in putting this one, on the "fast track".
I do not understand why on earth it takes so long to get a map through the foundry. I see a few of you that seem to have learned how to navigate through their hoops. You create the game. I will do the artwork. You can even be the credited Author. I do not care, as long as I can get my name on a map. lol.
I have an idea to get this ball rolling. Talk to your relatives and see if any know and can remember this battle. Who knows, maybe one of them was actually there. I would like to see stuff on this map, that is more than just what you can read in a history book. Like some little know facts, or the heroes' that fought and or died there. the names of all the different units ...etc.
We can even contact an Iwa Jima or WWII club. I'm sure that there are things that they would want to see represented on our map.
