Step one of making a map is having a theme.
A bunch of squares in different colors is not a theme.

well, technically it is.
But it doesn't look like a very entertaining theme.
Whats the concept behind it? Is there anything other than 'squares can attack eachother' that would make this interesting to play?

if you're going to proceed, I'd suggest getting rid of the four-corner borders, as it is not clear what can attack what.

I think he means most of the borders in the map.
Like G1-G5 and G6-G7....
