No not really what I want is the colonies and maybe on the frontier some indian tribes.

but on new world you start off as one of the founding countries which set up colonies in the americas and/or as one of the native tribes -like the sioux and inuit, which is similar to what you described

no it isnt we would on;ly have the thirteen colonies

sounds like your taking about North America colonization period, when the english/french/spanish made colonies in north america (aka modern day florida-maine), which is different than the colonization in New World.
