Free For All Map

a few maps have been going on now where anybody can attack anybody but theres no map where you can actually freely attack anybody without some sort of the normal stuff


so a whole map to attack who ever you like bonus could be random spaces pretty much or there could be no bonuses at all

I am trying to figure out what you are saying, and what I'm getting at is you would like to see a special bonus for attacking particular players, or bonuses for random territories?

i think hes thinking of a map that is like the yard in the "supermax prison riot" map where you can attack anyone, the only difference being that there would be no prison surrounding the fight
...it would be fun if nothing else lol

had a cehck for something that could be used as an idea for this and this is best idea i thought of

if you repeat the pattern (say up to 6 or 7 circles getting smaller each time) then holding each full circle could be a bonus, while all the terts can still attack each other
...as i said "fun if nothing else" ;) :P

That would be great with the rings, but, in that regard, too bad you couldn't do something similiar but to wear you could still only attack the ones next to you, but each time you opened the game for your turn the rings would spin, placing you next to someone different each turn...now that would be interesting to say the least.

you should have borders because maps like honeycombs people complained that it should have borders. maps without borders are not praised about being a good map like crosswords. all i say is add borders! :geek:

add boarders, how is it possible to add boarders for a free for all map

if you had said just scrap the thought it would have been better

research honeycombs and find the dumb map that KLOBBER thought would become a real map. if you want me to say it then i will. Scrap the thought. :roll:

hello drake_259 and congratulations for coming up with a superb map idea. i recently suggested just such an idea in private conversation with, i think, a gold plated dog wearing a conqueror hat. in any case, my extrapolation is this:

-15x15 grid, 225 terits, each of which can attack each other
-no bonus areas
-altered territory bonus, conquerman style, so that you get 1 bonus army each 16 territories (say).

why is this a great idea?

in 1v1 (or team v team) the map becomes a pure test of attack control - knowing how to deploy and attack in a way that maximize your odds. no issues with the drop, and first go benefit is minimized due to the altered bonus structure. large numbers of armies, low initial drop and altered territory bonus mean that dice luck will average out.

it's almost like a tutorial in one important aspect of the game.

hmm 225 spaces, could be okay but i'm not a fan of conquerman for its amount of territorys , maybe a 10x10 map could do better so 100 territorys in total so it would give more players to want to play it
