Map idea--March Madness!!

Okay guys, this is my first time posting an idea in the Map Foundry, so play nice with me.
I know even casual sports fans pay attention to the NCAA Men's Basketball Tourney, aka March Madness. The symmetry of the bracket appeals to me--for those of you unfamilar with it, check it out: http://www.sportsline.com/collegebasketball/mayhem/brackets/viewable_men
I was thinking that each game would be a territory (63 total). One could only attack to game in a higher or lower round, not to another game in another round. For example, the UNC/Arkansas game territory can only attack UNC/Mt. St. Mary's, Indiana/Arkansas, or UNC/WSU. Bonuses would be based on having all the games along a tree--for instance, owning two first round games and the respective second round game might be a +1 bonus, having the whole top half of a bracket (4 first round games, 2 second round games and a Sweet 16 game) could be +3, having a whole region +5, etc.
I envision a number of potential problems. First, I don't know if we can use the college logos and teams, so we may have to use generic sports teams in a bracket format, like the Bulldogs, Titans, Devils, etc. With that, it might change the concept a bit, with only 16 teams, but each team being a territory. Also, people may complain that it is too simplistic and not colorful enough. Still, other's make like it. I'm not experienced with either XML or a graphics program, although I could probably work my way through either.
Anything to contribute to me? Discuss.
