There is a Texas map.
I tried a NY map, but failed.
State maps aren't very popular here...

Not gonna happen. Honestly, how could you make say Colorado a good map? The state's a freaking rectangle!

Dustbowl is not a rectangle. It is a map that contains rectangles.

Dustbowl is all about gameplay. If you want to make a classic map that isnt going to have amazing gameplay, you need a good theme. The majority of CC doesnt want to play on states maps, sorry.

I think states like california alaska and probably new york would make interesting maps.

maybey just make a couple of maps for the states that lend to more interesting gameplay

Given how many maps are being made of regions as small as most states I don't see why it wouldn't appeal. Like any other map, good gameplay and bringing out the uniqueness of that state would be key. That said, a map of every state is a lot of maps that will require a lot of eager map makers. Good luck!

Tk 421, are you planning on helping to make all of these maps?
This is a very big project if you don't help out.

Another thought. At one time or another a variety of people have started on various state maps. Some more recent than others. I would recommend contacting them and getting those folks to buy in if you want to do this. just search each state in the map ideas sub forum and a bunch will come up.

Rhode island ain't that small. Heck, my homestead map is just a borough. not even a city.

Size doesn't matter because you just work at the scale given to you.
