How a Map Develops Through the Foundry [Idea]

So, I think I had a stroke of brilliance this morning.

Here's the idea: a map about how maps are made! It would look like the forum, but with fake threads (with comic references), and probably mods and stamps connecting the different subforums.

Some ideas for some fake threads:
    World 4.0(Update 23, page 3)
Paris, Texas -- Comments... pretty please?
Hypersphere in 10 dimensions! ***part of a deca-tych***
The Arolaquialian Empire -- a fantasy map

But as long as it's fun to play -- who cares?

Crossword may be fun to play, but I'll never know because I'm not interested. If you're going to spend the next three months making a map it should appeal to more than 25 or so of us.

I see what you mean -- but wouldn't it be educational at the same time? People who play it would learn how the foundry works (and all its quirks).

Theres a million better ways to educate people on the foundry :)

...like creating a map! Oh the irony.

Ink, before you develop this "map" further, we need a draft of what you're intending. If you put in some funny rules or gameplay gimmicks, it might appeal to people even if it's a bit esoteric in its source material. Get that cranium churning.

I'll see what I can come up with. Maybe I'll win the mods over... ;)

You could please (or appease ) Andy by having the map filled with bananas images. Or just have it be one giant banana!

I think I'm basically against this map, though. It's a funny idea, but I don't think it has any appeal to the CC community as a whole.

I think it would just set a bad example... :)
I agree with Andy:

*pout* Fine I won't do it...

I was gonna have so much fun with this -- bananas for icons, tons of subtle jokes, oh well...
