I think it would be cool to have a College Campus map... I go to University of California Irvine, which is in Orange County. My campus is basically design to be a circle, so you would have different departments of schools all around the circle, there is also a University Center which is across the street that has market places and stores, and along with Parking lots..
I think it would be a cool idea..

And the Citadel map I'm working on. Having a TIME justifying it to the diehard "CCU was enough" crowd.

back on topic, my concern with a UC IRvine project is that it will have a very limited audience... Irvine alum and OC residents probably make up a limited slice of the Conquer Club population. If you're looking for a project with local flavor, you've got another, more world-renowned tourist attraction just a few miles away that would make a great map if you were careful with copyright issues.

Anyway, if you're going to spend time creating a map of a UC campus, you should pick a real school, like Cal. ;) Go Bears!

 ok then?
lol

but if you were to create a real collage campus, i dont think you would get much support, since the citadel is a bit like that, and that is already getting called a copy of CCU or too much like it, and that has great graphics and an accomplished map-maker, i dont think that this one would get through,
sorry,

see what others think..

I think a campus map isn't inherently a bad idea -- but it needs very different gameplay from CCU. That is the real problem people have with the Citadel -- the layout, with the one center territory, looks so similar. I can't get past that, honestly, and it's stopped me from looking closer at the map.

I almost made a UCI map a while ago (UCI alum).

I don't remember why I didn't but I didn't. Anyway, if you're going to do a map like that (very specific and not many people on the site would support it solely based on what the idea is), then it needs to be quite good graphically and have very good gameplay.

UCI has an awesome campus though. Aldrich park is something other college campuses want to have. The park is the center of the campus so all the buildings surround it on a ring. Ring road. Very imaginative huh?

oaktown just because your school is the top ranked public university doesn't mean the rest of the top 20 aren't good too

omg you always get in there first!!

i agree with green, i dont even play CCU, and i dont want to, and with the citadel coming up, i think its enough of 'colage campus' for now
